Internet Service
By: Brandon Koon
Telephone calls are only one part of today's telecommunication equation. Another key aspect of an effective telecom plan is securing Internet connectivity that works at a price that makes sense. In fact, as Internet usage increases, it is becoming one of the most important elements of telecommunications for many users.
Countless businesses are spending far too much for their Internet access and are not even receiving true top-notch service in the process.
I look at two factors when helping clients with their Internet needs. Both service quality and pricing are carefully considered in light of the clients' needs. Those who are willing to make too great of a compromise in either area will usually find themselves disappointed.
The key to successfully securing Internet services is to realize that it is possible to keep rates down while benefiting from high quality service. There is no reason to force a compromise, in many situations. It is possible to get access through the best possible resources at reasonable prices.
You may receive Internet access offers every day. They seem straightforward. Company X offers service Y at price Z. Do you really need a consultant for that?
What if I showed you how Company X stacked up against other providers? What if I told you company X might have a few alternate prices if you know how to find them? How would you feel if I told you service Y was better with some providers than others were? Would you be happy to having someone who understands the Internet issues of the telecommunication world on your side?
I think you can see why a good telecommunication consultant can be helpful in these situations. Choosing an Internet service provider (ISP) is not as easy as those advertisements make it seem. There is a variety of considerations at play and it takes a solid understanding of your options to make the best possible decision.
Do you know what a backbone provider is or whether it is important to do your business with one? Are you familiar with port and loop considerations? Can you negotiate the best possible deals with top tier carriers?
If you answered "no" to any of those questions, you could use an Internet-savvy telecommunication consultant. Even if you answered "yes" to all three queries, you probably wouldn't feel comfortable putting your dollars on the line based on your level of understanding.
Call me now. We can look at your current Internet situation and determine whether the service and the price justify the expense. We can investigate alternatives or look into negotiating a better deal for you.
All paths to the Internet are NOT created equal. Some are faster, more reliable and less expensive. Consult with me to find the best possible way to get and stay online.
